Eviden

Eviden is the Atos Group brand for cybersecurity products, mission-critical systems and vision AI. Atos Group operates under two brands, Atos for services and Eviden for products and systems. According to the company, Eviden has more than 2,200 experts and 720 patents. Its website is operated by Atos SE, whose registered office is in Bezons, France.

The mission-critical systems business covers digital defence systems for the command chain, homeland security systems, critical communications, space monitoring, Avantix signals intelligence for ISR and electromagnetic operations, and BEN Marine navigation instruments. Eviden supplies the SCORPION Combat Information System (SICS) for the French Army’s SCORPION modernisation programme. In May 2026 it announced a SICS training platform for the Luxembourg Army and studies on digitising Luxembourg’s vehicles, as part of the operational and digital convergence of the Luxembourg and Belgian armies. In October 2026 it launched ASTRA-LAS, a decision-support tool for above-water naval warfare.

Under the BEN Marine brand, which goes back to the Bianchetti navigation instrument workshop founded in Marseille in 1822, Eviden makes electromagnetic speed logs, repeaters, flowmeters and compasses for naval and civil vessels. In November 2026 it launched SMX, an electromagnetic speed log for uncrewed surface and underwater vehicles. SMX is rated to 30 bar (300 metres), weighs less than 2 kg, is qualified to MIL-STD standards, emits no acoustic signal and sends its data over an NMEA interface. Eviden names mine countermeasure vehicles, torpedoes, wet submersibles and missiles as applications. The sensor is designed and built at Eviden’s mission-critical systems facility in Aix-en-Provence.
