About Agoria-BSDI

Agoria-BSDI (Belgian Security & Defence Industry) is the defence cluster of Agoria, the Belgian technology industry federation, which represents more than 2,200 companies. Within Agoria it belongs to the Aerospace, Safety, Security, Cybersecurity & Defence industry cluster. BSDI describes itself as the central platform for companies that provide technological solutions or services for military use, from rugged materials and mechatronics to digital systems for surveillance, communication and operations.

Its fields of activity range from land, air, sea and space systems to cyber warfare, JISR and force protection. For its members the group organises joint trade fair participation and matchmaking, networking events and regular updates on regulation and tenders, and it supports them on public procurement, export, compliance and R&D funding. Agoria names the European defence industry association ASD and the NATO Industrial Advisory Group as its European umbrella networks. Together with the Cyber Made in Belgium community, Agoria runs CMiB4Defence, which links cybersecurity companies with military applications.

In March 2026 Agoria-BSDI had 153 members and 22 partners, up from 60 members four years earlier. Its general manager is Frédéric Givron. The group was a partner of BEDEX, the first Belgian defence exhibition, in March 2026, and its series of defence webinars reached 521 companies.
