About Alliance of Canadian Defence Companies
The Alliance of Canadian Defence Companies (ACDC) was launched in February 2026 and represents Canadian-controlled companies that design, build, maintain and export defence systems. Membership is open only to Canadian-controlled defence firms, including software, autonomy, AI and sensor companies; according to its website, the alliance counts around 150 members with a combined workforce of more than 75,000.
ACDC advocates for procurement reform and less dependence on foreign primes, and organises bid consortia, capability summits and classified briefings for its members. Its co-chairs are Eliot Pence of Dominion Dynamics and Paul Ziadé of North Vector Dynamics.
