ASO Airspace Surveillance

ASO Airspace Surveillance S.R.L. was founded in Bucharest in 2025 and focuses on the lower airspace. Its Vision-AI software analyses the video feeds of optical cameras with neural networks, detects drones passively at close range and low altitude, and delivers alerts together with visual evidence.

The system works with existing IP cameras as well as ASO's own sensors, including a 48-megapixel edge-AI EO/IR sensor and a 360-degree panoramic sensor. Alongside Vision-AI, the company offers UAID for drone identification and Skyware UTM for airspace management, and tests at the Fundulea UAV test centre in Romania.
