About Atmolab

ATMOLAB d.o.o. is a Slovenian company based in Škofja vas that develops and manufactures gimbal camera systems for unmanned aircraft and other platforms used for ISR, real-time surveillance, area control and search and rescue. Its systems are described as rugged, lightweight and rainproof, are designed to MIL-STD-810G and combine mechanical, electronic and software stabilisation. Onboard computers based on NVIDIA Tegra TX2, Xavier or Orin allow AI processing on the gimbal.

Besides standard gimbals the company builds custom gimbal systems to customer requirements, retract systems that pull the gimbal into the fuselage of a UAV, and damper systems that isolate the sensors from vibration, for example on platforms with combustion engines. EagleEye is its own software for gimbal control and video streaming.

Atmolab supplied the day-night camera system for Galeb, a small vertical take-off drone that the Slovenian Ministry of Defence developed for the Slovenian Navy with OneDrone as lead contractor, ElevonX and Mil Sistemika, and that was presented in November 2020. The camera offers 30x zoom and a rangefinder and can be retracted into the fuselage for landing.
