BDSV – Bundesverband der Deutschen Sicherheits- und Verteidigungsindustrie

The Bundesverband der Deutschen Sicherheits- und Verteidigungsindustrie (BDSV) was founded in 2009 and is based in Berlin. It represents the interests of the German security and defence industry towards the Bundestag, the federal government, the EU and NATO, acts as a link between companies, politics and the media, and organises joint trade fair presences.

According to the association, more than 400 companies including subsidiaries are organised in BDSV and BDSV Exhibitions. The BDSV is a member of BDI, ASD, NIAG and DWT, and its committees cover topics such as security, maritime security, digital convergence and operational AI.
