About Circle Scope
Danish provider of AI-based camera systems that detect, classify and track drones, vessels and birds, combining them with radar and RF sensors in its own command-and-control software.
Circle Scope is the detection and tracking business of the Danish Circle group, whose parent company CIRCLE ApS was founded in 2001 and is registered in Hørsholm north of Copenhagen; CircleScope ApS is listed as one of its secondary names. Besides Hørsholm, the company lists offices in Aarhus, Sønderborg and Odense and in Oslo, Norway. According to its own description it has developed camera systems for more than ten years and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications. The company is led by CEO Lauge Rønnow and has a sales director dedicated to defence.
Its Drone Tracker is a counter-UAS solution for detection, classification and tracking: AI-based camera systems are combined with other sensors such as radar and RF detectors, and a custom CircleScope C2 system lets operators monitor potential threats and initiate a response. The system can integrate most radars already installed on a site and can be scaled to cover larger areas such as airports, harbours and power plants. The NavalTracker applies the same approach to naval use.
Further products include camera modules, an FOD Tracker for foreign object debris and the TRACKER 2 system, which recognises and follows moving objects and is used in the wind industry to track birds near turbines. Circle Scope addresses airports, harbours, mass events, naval forces, prisons and wind farms, and offers in-house development, integration and on-site testing.
