About CubePilot
CubePilot is an Australian-owned company registered in Victoria and reported by trade press to be based in Geelong. Its hardware ecosystem centres on the Cube modular autopilot, which is compatible with the open-source ArduPilot and PX4 flight software. Current variants include Cube Orange, Cube Orange+, Cube Blue H7 and Cube Red, used with carrier boards such as Kore, Mini, EDU450 and an ADS-B IN carrier board.
The range also covers the Here 3, Here 3+ and Here 4 GNSS modules, HerePro, the CubeNode and CubeID modules, the CubeLAN 8 Port Switch and the Herelink HD video and control transmission system. According to the company, its products are NDAA-compliant and made in American and allied-owned factories in California and Taiwan; Herelink is the exception and is assembled in China.
Cube Orange, Cube Orange+, Cube Blue, Cube Blue H7, Here3 and Here4 are on the US Department of Defense Blue UAS list. In January 2026 sUAS News reported that an FCC public notice confirmed these products as exempt from the US national security “covered lists”.
