Dansk Erhverv Forsvar

Dansk Erhverv Forsvar is the defence branch of Dansk Erhverv, the Danish Chamber of Commerce, which is based in Copenhagen. It brings together production, service and trade companies that sell to the Danish Armed Forces and the wider defence industry, aims to raise awareness of the sector's importance and works for better framework conditions for its member companies and their cooperation with the armed forces.

Its core is Dansk Erhvervs Forsvarsnetværk, a defence network open free of charge to Dansk Erhverv members, which focuses on dialogue with and access to the armed forces, participation in defence tenders and procurement, public-private cooperation, security clearances, export control and the green transition of the armed forces. Members can influence the branch's policy through the Defence Policy Committee (Forsvarspolitisk Udvalg); the branch also publishes political recommendations and analyses and runs courses and events.

On unmanned systems, Dansk Erhverv has published the position paper "Droner som styrkeposition", which calls for a unified national approach to drones and counter-drones in Denmark and for better framework conditions for developing, using and countering aerial drones. Within Dansk Erhverv, the defence area is the responsibility of deputy director Jakob Ellemann-Jensen.
