About Draganfly

Draganfly was founded in 1998 by Zenon Dragan and has its principal office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The parent company, Draganfly Inc., is listed on Nasdaq and the Canadian Securities Exchange as DPRO and in Frankfurt as 3U8. In 1999 it released what it describes as the first commercialised quadrotor UAV.

The product range includes the Commander 3XL and Commander 3XL Hybrid, Apex, Orca, Soten, Starling X.2, a Heavy Lift Drone, the Flex FPV system and a Precision Delivery System, together with payloads, sensors and software. The company also offers contract engineering for defence, government and enterprise customers, flight services and drone training.

In September 2025 the US Army selected Draganfly to supply Flex FPV drone systems, including on-site manufacturing at overseas US forces facilities and flight and manufacturing training. In February 2026 it was selected, in partnership with DelMar Aerospace, to provide Flex FPV drones and training to US Air Force Special Operations Command units. Partners named on its website include Vermeer for military and government contracts and Bluvec for counter-drone technology.
