About Dropla Tech

Danish-Ukrainian defence technology company that develops edge-AI systems for detecting mines, explosive ordnance and ambush drones from drone video, as well as unmanned ground vehicles.

Dropla Tech ApS was registered in Denmark in July 2023 and has its registered office in Aarhus; its research and development work is based in Ukraine. In August 2025 the company raised €2.4 million from Maj Invest, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) and the venture capital firm Final Frontier, and in 2026 it received a further investment from the American-Ukrainian investment group MITS Capital. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence contributed operational requirements for its systems.

Its main product, Blue Eyes, analyses live video from drones to detect landmines, unexploded ordnance, IEDs and ambush FPV drones. It runs on a rugged edge device without cloud, internet or GNSS connection, can create terrain maps from video alone and accepts the RTMP stream of any compatible UAV. Blue Eyes has been assigned a NATO Stock Number through Ukraine's National Codification Bureau; according to the company it is used by units of the Ukrainian armed forces and security services and has recorded more than 5,000 confirmed detections.

Dropla also builds unmanned ground vehicles: the LOGIST 1.0 is a 4×4 electric platform for logistics, casualty evacuation, mine detection and surveillance, with a stated off-road range of 25 km and a jamming-resistant control link. In June 2026 Dropla signed a memorandum with the Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics to integrate the Buria remote weapon station on the LOGIST UGV. Further products are the Dropla Vision mapping platform for humanitarian demining and the Seer system, which pairs a detection vehicle with a neutralisation vehicle.
