About EZ Aerial

EZ Aerial, formerly known as Easy Aerial, is a Brooklyn-based manufacturer of tethered and free-flight unmanned aircraft systems. Its products include the EZ Mobile tethered drone-in-a-box, which can be mounted on unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned surface vessels or fixed sites, the EZ Lite+ hybrid drone that flies tethered or in free flight, and the AirBoss handheld control station.

The company states that all of its products are NDAA compliant and made in the USA, and that it is listed on the Defense Innovation Unit’s Blue list. It names the US Department of Defense, the US Army, Navy, Air Force, SOCOM and DTRA among the organisations it supports. According to trade press, it holds contracts with the US Department of War and the Department of Homeland Security and supplies systems to defence primes that integrate them into ground and maritime platforms.

In September 2026 the company raised a 20 million US dollar Series B round led by Insight Partners. It reports contracts for 118 systems in Israel and the Netherlands and production at four sites in the United States and one in the Netherlands. Its focus areas include border and installation security and an emerging counter-UAS role.
