About Elbit Systems EW and SIGINT – Elisra

Elbit Systems EW and SIGINT – Elisra Ltd. (Elisra) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems based in Holon, Israel. According to the group’s annual report, it provides a wide range of electronic warfare (EW) systems, signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems and C4ISR technological solutions to customers worldwide.

In November 2016 Elbit presented ReDrone at the Israel HLS & Cyber Conference as an addition to Elisra’s family of electronic warfare systems. The system detects, identifies, locates, tracks and neutralises hostile drones, separates a drone’s signals from its operator’s remote control signals and locates both. Current configurations combine the DAiR radar, SIGINT sensors, EW countermeasures and an electro-optical day/night payload under a common command and control system, in mobile, stationary and deployable versions.

In August 2023 Elbit was awarded a contract worth about $55 million to supply multi-layered ReDrone counter-UAS systems to the Netherlands over four years. In January 2025 it announced a further contract worth about $60 million to supply ReDrone to a NATO European country over three years.
