About hensec
hensec ("secure solutions") is the brand of Heneka Elektronik und Sicherheit, a security company based in Karlsdorf-Neuthard near Karlsruhe and owned by its founder Kevin Heneka. With a team of more than ten specialists it covers physical and cyber security, OT security, eavesdropping protection, forensics and radio monitoring, and states that its hardware and software are made in the EU, mostly in Germany.
In counter-UAS, hensec acts as a specialist retailer and integrator of Aaronia's AARTOS drone detection systems, including the portable AARTOS X2, and offers rental systems for events and festivals. In early 2026 it opened a civilian drone situation centre at Tegernsee in Upper Bavaria that monitors the airspace over connected sites, primarily critical infrastructure, and alerts authorities or plant security when drones are detected.
The company also develops its own unmanned and navigation products: AISVogel, a hybrid eVTOL fixed-wing drone with a 2.99 m wingspan and up to about ten hours of endurance that carries RF sensors for drone detection, GNSS interference detection and direction finding; REGINA-Air, a jamming-resilient GNSS kit for UAVs and UGVs built around Septentrio receiver technology; and the Drone-MonSta Box, which blocks automatic drone launches when GNSS interference or nearby aircraft are detected.
