JUNGHANS Microtec

JUNGHANS Microtec GmbH is based in Dunningen-Seedorf in Baden-Württemberg and serves as the mechanical competence centre of JUNGHANS Defence, a joint venture of Diehl and Thales that also includes JUNGHANS T2M in La Ferté-Saint-Aubin, France. The company traces its roots to the Junghans watchmaking firm.

JUNGHANS develops, designs and manufactures mechanical and electronic fuzes and safety-and-arming devices in-house. Applications include artillery, mortars, direct-fire weapons for infantry, shoulder-fired systems and tanks, as well as bombs, missiles and torpedoes.
