About Leonardo DRS
Leonardo DRS is a US defence technology company headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. It is majority-owned by the Italian Leonardo group and, following its merger with the Israeli radar maker RADA in 2022, is listed on the Nasdaq and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. In 2025 the company reported revenue of around 3.6 billion US dollars.
Counter-UAS is one of its key business areas. For the US Army, Leonardo DRS supplies the Mobile Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Defeat System (M-LIDS), a vehicle-mounted system for detecting and defeating drones, and it provides the mission equipment package for the Army's Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) vehicle. The tactical radars from the former RADA are widely used for drone detection.
Its portfolio also includes infrared and electro-optical sensors, tactical communications and networking, and power and propulsion systems for naval and ground vehicles.
