About Mehler Protection
Mehler Protection is the ballistic protection brand of the Fulda-based Mehler Systems group, supplying body armour and platform protection for military, police and critical infrastructure.
Mehler Protection is the ballistic protection brand of Mehler Systems, a group headquartered in Fulda, Germany. The underlying company, Mehler Vario System GmbH, was founded in 1986 and grew into one of Europe's largest suppliers of protective vests. In 2023 the group consolidated its protection activities under the Mehler Protection name alongside the UF PRO and Lindnerhof brands.
The product range covers soft and hard ballistic panels, covert and overt vests, plate carriers, ballistic helmets and shields, as well as stab and slash protection and riot equipment. A second line, platform armour, addresses land vehicles, naval vessels and aircraft, and includes armouring solutions for critical infrastructure.
For the unmanned sector the company is relevant through its platform protection work, including a counter-UAV protection concept and the PROTEC3D line of 3D-printed ballistic components such as armoured sensor housings. Mehler Protection exhibits regularly at Enforce Tac, Eurosatory and DVD.
