About Modirum Security Technologies
Modirum Security Technologies is a trade name of Modirum Gespi Oy (formerly Modirum Defence Oy), part of the Modirum group, which was founded in Helsinki in 1997. According to the Finnish trade register the company's address is in Espoo. The defence business is separate from Modirum's payment-security activities.
The group develops mission-critical communications, real-time situational awareness, AI-driven analytics and cybersecurity for governments; its M Orbit platform is a multimodal situational awareness system for defence and security organisations. With VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Modirum Security Technologies is developing an AI-driven software platform for autonomous UAV swarms in air defence.
In February 2026 Modirum Platforms joined the Digital Defence Ecosystem Finland; the group has also acquired the British firm PWin Defence Consultancy.
