About MyDefence
Danish counter-UAS company from Nørresundby that builds RF-based drone detectors and jammers in wearable, vehicle-mounted and fixed-site versions, used by armed forces including those of the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.
MyDefence A/S traces its origins to 2009, when its founders set out to protect soldiers against radio-controlled improvised explosive devices; in 2013 it defined the core technology for detecting and jamming wireless signals and began development together with the Danish Defence. The company later shifted its focus to unmanned aircraft and today describes itself as a specialist in soldier-borne counter-UAS. It is based in Nørresundby near Aalborg and has subsidiaries and offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Ukraine; MyDefence North America manufactures in Oklahoma City and opened an office in Reston, Virginia, in 2026.
The product range is organised in three groups. Wearable systems include the Wingman 103 and 105 drone detectors, the new Wingman Edge and the Pitbull 101 jammer, which weighs 1.33 kg, jams control, video and GNSS signals at up to 1,000 m and can be triggered automatically by a Wingman. On-the-move systems include the Watchdog 150 and 250 detectors, the Dobermann 151 jammer and the Ridgeback light vehicle kit, while the Wolfpack, Watchdog 202, Dobermann 121 and 360 and Boxer cover fixed sites. A situational awareness system, a custom drone library and the AI-based Spectrum Warrior RF intelligence approach link the sensors, and the systems integrate with ATAK.
In October 2026 MyDefence and its Dutch partner Condor Arnhem were selected to supply Wingman, Pitbull, Wolfpack and Boxer systems to the Netherlands Armed Forces. Through its partner HighCom Technology the company supplies the Australian Defence Force and, under a NZ$1.96 million contract announced in September 2026, the New Zealand Defence Force. For 2025 MyDefence reported a net profit of DKK 125.4 million; its workforce grew from 52 employees at the start of 2025 to 135 in May 2026.
