odm GmbH

odm GmbH was founded in 2019 and is based in Wattenheim in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The company set out to improve existing military equipment and deliberately manufactures at its own site with German suppliers. Its original core product is the communication handset used by the German Bundeswehr.

The product line has since been extended to the IR33 series of modular over-ear headsets with passive and active hearing protection, and to TiReCa, a textile fibre with integrated paraffin for temperature regulation in clothing. These products are aimed at armed forces, police and other professional users.

In the unmanned field, odm presented the HC-1 reconnaissance drone at Enforce Tac, developed together with HIGHCAT GmbH. The platform is stated to have a range of about 20 kilometres, a flight time of around 69 minutes and a payload of up to 7 kilograms for sensors.
