About OODALOOP Technologies
Danish defence technology company from Odense that develops and mass-produces expendable, pilot-assisted strike, interceptor and training drones operated from a common ground control station.
OODALOOP Technologies ApS was registered in May 2025 and is based at Forskerparken in Odense; it also ran a unit in Risskov near Aarhus until May 2026. The company describes itself as a Nordic defence tech company that develops and mass-produces pilot-assisted, expendable drone systems for the defence of Europe, and it holds a NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) code. It received support from the APUS programme run by Odense Robotics and CenSec to move towards mass production.
The OODA drone systems are cost-optimised modular platforms for offensive, defensive and training missions. Attack systems comprise the OODA FPV Strike System and OODA Wing Strike System; defensive systems for counter-UAS operations comprise the OODA Interceptor Drone System and OODA C-UAS Drone System; training systems comprise the OODA Target Drone System, OODA FPV Drone System and OODA Wing Drone System. All can be flown manually or autonomously from the OODA Ground Control Station.
The company manufactures its electronics stack in house and uses interchangeable batteries across drones and ground control stations to simplify logistics and reduce training requirements. Systems are configured, assembled and scaled through distributed production facilities called OODA Units, and they are distributed in European target markets through regional resellers specialising in unmanned systems.
