About the company
About Parrot
Parrot is a French group that designs, develops and markets professional micro-UAVs and photogrammetry software. It was founded in 1994 by Henri Seydoux, who is its chairman, CEO and main shareholder, and has been listed on Euronext Paris since 2006. The group is headquartered in Paris, develops its products in Europe and has manufacturing carried out in the United States and South Korea. It also owns the photogrammetry software company Pix4D.
Its current product range focuses on defence, security and government users. The ANAFI UKR is a tactical micro-UAV weighing under one kilogram, designed for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. It uses embedded AI and optical navigation to operate in GNSS-denied environments, along with a frequency-hopping military radio intended to resist spoofing. A variant, ANAFI UKR GOV, is aimed at law enforcement, first responders and public authorities. Further models include ANAFI USA and ANAFI Ai.
According to Parrot, the defence version of ANAFI UKR has been in service with several European, North American and NATO forces since mid-2024. In November 2025 the company announced a three-year contract with an unnamed European defence force, and in March 2026 it reported the first call-off orders through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), including for the Finnish Defence Forces.
