Perkons Energy

SIA “Perkons Energy” produces battery packs in the Ogre municipality east of Riga. According to the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), active production began in early 2024; co-founder is Mārtiņš Pastars. The company covers the process from cell selection and testing to the finished pack with its own housing, from prototypes to series production.

Product groups are balanced, high energy density and high power battery packs with Li-ion, LiPo and semi-solid-state cells, plus the Nomad 3600 portable power case. Target applications include drones and other unmanned systems, defence, security, agriculture, logistics, inspection and research. The company supports customers with testing and compliance, including UN 38.3 for transport.

LIAA reported in December 2025 that around 80 % of the previous year’s sales were exports, with customers in countries including Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Denmark, Belgium, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Perkons Energy is a member of MilTech Latvia, Letera and DAIF and exhibited at SKYDD 2026.
