About PLATH
PLATH GmbH & Co. KG is a systems integrator for communications and signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare. It belongs to a family-run group headquartered in Hamburg that has been active for more than 70 years; PLATH has further sites in Gilching near Munich, Bern and Singapore. The company in its current form was created in 2021, when the group spun off its systems and integration and radio reconnaissance software units.
With Xer Technologies and Quadsat, PLATH is developing SIGFLY VTOL ELINT, a UAV-based electronic intelligence system that combines a vertical take-off unmanned aircraft from Xer Technologies, Quadsat's SpectraLoc passive RF sensor and a mission solution developed and integrated by PLATH. The first test flight was completed in September 2026; joint performance tests with users are to follow.
With more than 350 systems delivered and in operation worldwide, PLATH supplies automated 24/7 detection and analysis of HF and V/UHF signals, mobile systems for an electromagnetic situational picture and the protection of own forces, long-range naval intelligence systems with a high degree of automation, and airborne systems for discreet intelligence gathering with real-time data. Its portfolio also includes jamming solutions.
Under the slogan “Closing the gap”, PLATH presented its meshed unmanned EW core at the KSK Symposium 2026: autonomous drones extend sensor coverage where it matters, while the PLATH SDI Core turns the collected signals into reliable decision support and a common operational picture in real time.
