About Project Q
Project Q GmbH is a European defence technology company with offices in Munich and Berlin. It develops integration infrastructure for modern security and defence ecosystems, linking sensors, unmanned systems, command and mission systems and other capabilities for armed forces, security authorities and operators of critical infrastructure.
Its core product is Hydris, an open-core integration and orchestration platform whose control plane is published under the Apache 2.0 licence. Hydris brings commercial off-the-shelf technology, data sources and legacy systems into a common operating environment and feeds the combined picture into existing battle management and C2 applications such as SitaWare and ATAK. The company stresses AI-supported data processing, edge computing and distributed operations, ITAR-free technology and deployment on premises, in the cloud or in air-gapped networks.
For the field, Project Q offers the UGS Mission Kit, a passive unattended ground sensor that provides early warning of RF-silent threats, can be placed by UAV, UGV or by hand and is designed for more than 30 days of operation with IP67 protection. Use cases named by the company include counter-UAS monitoring of the lower airspace and the integration of legacy sensors for CBRN reconnaissance.
