About PwC Austria

PwC Austria is the Austrian member firm of the PwC network of audit, tax and advisory firms and is based in Vienna. Its defence and security practice works for public-sector clients and industrial partners.

According to its industry page, PwC supports the implementation of the Austrian Armed Forces' build-up plan “Österreichisches Bundesheer 2032+”, including large procurement projects, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and cyber resilience. The page names drones and counter-drone systems as well as medium-range air-defence missiles (Sky Shield) among the procurement priorities, and lists maintenance, sensors, avionics, software development and component manufacturing as opportunities for Austrian companies.

PwC also advises on public procurement and contract law and on funding questions; a PwC article on funding opportunities for the defence sector covers the European Defence Fund.
