About Quadsat
Danish company from Odense that develops RF detection and geolocation payloads for electronic warfare, designed for integration on unmanned aircraft, together with spectrum operations software.
Quadsat ApS was founded in 2017 and has its headquarters, research and development and production at the UAS Denmark Test Center at Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense. The company originally used drone-based technology for testing and calibrating satellite antennas and has since shifted from SATCOM testing to radio frequency detection and geolocation for defence. Its stated aim is to supply RF spectrum awareness and electronic warfare capabilities to European, NATO and allied defence organisations. Niels Bjerregaard became CEO in 2025; in the same year the company completed a capital increase of DKK 37.3 million with European investors.
Quadsat builds modular RF sensing and electronic warfare payloads that can be integrated into different UAV platforms. Its core product, SpectraLoc, is a long-range payload that detects and geolocates hostile emitters; the company describes its payloads as weighing around 3 kg, covering the 2–18 GHz range and suitable for Group 2 to 5 UAVs as well as vehicle or ground use. Spectrum operations software for spectrum mapping, signal analysis and mission planning complements the hardware.
In March 2026 Quadsat and TEKEVER completed flight integration tests of SpectraLoc on the AR3 EVO tactical unmanned aircraft. In July 2026 the company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ukrainian defence technology company MATHESIS, which is intended to become its local technology, commercial and service partner in Ukraine. Quadsat has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2026.
