About Riseport Europe

Riseport Europe is the parent company of a German group of defence companies with locations in Hamburg, Bremen and Düsseldorf. According to the company, its fields of work include project management, procurement, electronic, mechanical and software development as well as weapon systems, automation and services. The parent company was rebranded under the Riseport Europe name in January 2025.

Its main counter-UAS project is the ARGOS product family, a platform protection system against small and micro drones. The base configuration combines passive 360-degree detection with camera, acoustic and radio-frequency sensors, deliberately without radar, with a kinetic effector based on an automatic shotgun. Airburst ammunition and a guided-missile launcher are planned as extensions for greater ranges.

In autumn 2025 the company completed the final design review of the sensor module for ARGOS APS, a variant intended to protect infantry and mobile units. Riseport presented ARGOS at the RüNet 2025 event and has signed a memorandum of understanding with Red Arrow Technologies through its unit Riseport Airdefender.
