About Robotto

Danish software company from Aalborg that develops vision-based autonomy, perception and GNSS-independent navigation for drones and counter-drone interceptors, used by Ukrainian units and selected for NATO DIANA.

Robotto Co ApS was registered in Aalborg in November 2019. It grew out of a 2019 bachelor's project by four students and their supervisor on using artificial intelligence and drones to provide wildfire data to firefighters; early work included a partnership with the Spanish specialist firefighting unit GRAF and wildlife protection projects with WWF. Today the company describes its software as a modular operating system for unmanned systems with layers for perception, autonomy, mission control and platform integration, covering vision-based navigation, edge computing and flight in GNSS-denied environments.

Robotto's defence suite provides autonomy, guidance and targeting for drones and counter-drones and is designed to make them more resistant to jamming. According to the company the software is platform-agnostic and runs on quadcopters, fixed-wing aircraft and interceptors, with use cases including precision strike and autonomous interception. Since Russia's full-scale invasion Robotto has worked with Ukrainian drone manufacturers and operational units, and its software is used at the front line; in March 2026 it established a Ukrainian subsidiary, Robotto UA.

In December 2025 Robotto was selected for the NATO DIANA Challenge Programme 2026 in the autonomy and unmanned systems area, joining an accelerator in Kraków, Poland, to develop its dual-use Spectre technology. The Danish export and investment fund EIFO is among its investors.
