SE3 Labs

SE3 Labs GmbH is a Munich-based developer of spatial AI for autonomous systems. Its co-founders Lukas Köstler (CEO), Simon Klenk (CTO) and Daniel Cremers (CSO) come from the Chair for Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich, which Cremers heads.

The software builds a real-time 3D reconstruction of the operating environment from sensor data and combines computer vision with large language models. It supports navigation in GNSS-denied environments, spatial target localisation and the coordination of several unmanned systems, which operators can query and command in natural language.

SE3 Labs has demonstrated its technology at Bundeswehr events, including the innovation centre in Erding and an army exercise in Munster. In June 2026 Hensoldt and SE3 Labs signed a memorandum of understanding at ILA Berlin to integrate SE3's AI into Hensoldt's MDOcore platform for multi-domain operations.
