About Sentrycs
Sentrycs Ltd. is an Israeli developer of counter-UAS solutions used by military forces, homeland security agencies, law enforcement and operators of critical infrastructure. In November 2025 the US company Ondas completed the acquisition of Sentrycs, which now presents itself as an Ondas company.
Its technology is based on protocol manipulation, often described as cyber over RF. The system passively detects, tracks and identifies drones, including make, model and serial number, locates their operators and can then safely mitigate them through a cyber takeover, for example by disconnecting the controller or redirecting the drone to a new home location, without disrupting authorised communications or GNSS services. The portfolio includes the Sentrycs Horizon platform as well as portable, fixed and vehicle-mounted kits and the Sentrycs Ranger.
At the KSK Symposium 2026 the company showcased Sentrycs Scout, a lightweight, rapidly deployable tactical counter-UAS solution for expeditionary and mobile operations by special forces, border security, force protection, convoy security and temporary site defence. According to Ondas, Sentrycs systems have been deployed around 200 times in more than 25 countries.
