Silvus Technologies is a Los Angeles-based developer of mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) radios. In August 2025 Motorola Solutions completed its acquisition of the company for about 4.4 billion US dollars upfront, with up to 600 million dollars in additional earn-out payments.
Silvus develops advanced MIMO technologies for broadband wireless links in mission-critical applications. Its StreamCaster radios offer high data throughput, interference mitigation, range and robustness for secure data, video and voice without fixed infrastructure.
The radios are widely used in drones and unmanned systems as well as by government and commercial customers.
