Swissmem – SWISS ASD

Swissmem is the association of the Swiss mechanical, electrical and metal industries, with roots going back to 1883 and headquarters in Zurich. Its industry sector SWISS ASD (Aeronautics, Security and Defence) brings together internationally active companies in aerospace, security and defence technology that produce civil and military products.

SWISS ASD lists more than 110 member companies, among them RUAG, Rheinmetall Air Defence, Thales Suisse, HENSOLDT Switzerland, Safran Vectronix, Destinus and Loft Dynamics. The group offers specialist meetings, B2B events for offset business, support with the EN 9100 aerospace standard, joint trade fair participation and political representation, including on Swiss export rules.
