About Symlab

Symlab AG was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Freienbach, with an operations office in Ostermundigen near Bern. The company develops and integrates radio-frequency equipment: receivers, transmitters, jammers, monitoring and classification equipment, radio direction finders and commercial anti-drone equipment.

In 2023 Global Clearance Solutions (GCS), also based in Freienbach, acquired a majority stake in Symlab, which then took over the jamming business of Comlab AG; GCS now describes Symlab as a wholly owned subsidiary and as the group's competence centre for active and reactive jamming. Its man-portable, vehicle-integrated and fixed jamming systems are used against radio-triggered IEDs and hostile drones, including counter-drone protection of fixed sites.
