About TEST-FUCHS

TEST-FUCHS is a family-owned company headquartered in Groß-Siegharts in Lower Austria, led by owner and CEO Volker Fuchs. It builds tailor-made test systems and ground support equipment for civil and military aviation and develops, produces and maintains airborne system components; it also makes cryogenic valves, which it first developed for Ariane 5. With further sites in Vienna and Dobersberg and service locations in Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, China, Singapore and the USA, the group has about 740 employees and annual revenue of around EUR 100 million.

The components business is run by TEST-FUCHS Aerospace Systems GmbH, founded in 2019, which positions itself as a supplier of systems and components for helicopters, smaller aircraft, UAVs and space. The group has designed and produced fuel systems since the 1990s and equipment for civil and military aircraft, helicopters and UAVs, including booster, transfer and jet pumps, flame arrestors, capacitive fuel gauges and valves. It works to EN 9100 and holds EU Part 21G and Part 145, FAA FAR 145 and UK CAA Part 145 approvals.

For unmanned aircraft, TEST-FUCHS supplies system components, including for MALE UAVs, to medium and large UAVs with combustion engines and conventional fuel systems. In the helicopter market its pumps, valves, actuators, sensors and electronics are used on several helicopter types.
