About Twentyfour Industries
Munich-based start-up that mass-produces low-cost quadcopter drones for European armed forces and plans to produce AS-3 Surveyor interceptor drones of the Merops counter-drone system near Munich with Perennial Autonomy.
Twentyfour Industries GmbH was incorporated in late 2024 and is based in Munich, with a representative office in Berlin. It is managed by its co-founders Clemens Kürten (CEO) and Erik Linden (chief commercial officer). The company emerged from stealth in January 2026 with 11.8 million US dollars in funding from Lakestar, OTB Ventures and 468 Capital. In the German lobby register it describes itself as a German drone manufacturer focused on filling capability gaps of the Bundeswehr and other state security actors.
Its first product is a cost-efficient, mass-manufacturable 10-inch quadcopter. According to the company, several hundred units have been delivered and are operated daily by European soldiers; the customers have not been named. Engineering and operations are concentrated in Munich.
In May 2026 Twentyfour Industries agreed with the US company Perennial Autonomy to mass-produce AS-3 Surveyor interceptors for the Merops counter-drone system near Munich. Merops combines a detection radar with AS-3 Surveyor interceptor drones, which have a declared top speed of 280 km/h and can engage targets autonomously or under operator control; Perennial Autonomy credits the system with more than 4,000 Russian drones destroyed in Ukraine. Twentyfour states that it aims to supply the Bundeswehr and its partners with combat-proven technology.
