About UVision
UVision Air Ltd. is an Israeli defence technology company founded in 2011 and based in the Emek Hefer Industrial Park. The company is controlled by businessman Aaron Frenkel; it operates a US subsidiary, UVision USA, in Virginia and in November 2025 acquired the Israeli start-up SpearUAV.
UVision specialises in loitering munitions. Its Hero family ranges from the man-portable Hero-20 and Hero-30 through the mid-range Hero-120 to long-range variants such as the Hero-400 and Hero-900, and also includes the rotary-wing Hero-R. The systems are designed as sensor-to-shooter weapons that can be aborted and redirected up to the final strike.
The Hero-120 was selected for the US Marine Corps Organic Precision Fires programme, and the company has reported a large US Army order. In Europe, UVision cooperates with Rheinmetall to market and further develop the Hero systems for European customers.
