About VISIONAIRtronics

VISIONAIRtronics GmbH, which operates under the brand visionair, is based in Illmitz in the Austrian state of Burgenland. The company started out in 2014 building camera-carrying aerial platforms for media productions and has since concentrated on power management and propulsion solutions for unmanned vehicles and robotics, according to its own statements mainly for defence applications. It is a member of the Austrian Defence & Security Industry group (ARGE Sicherheit & Wirtschaft) of the Austrian Economic Chamber.

Its product range covers the chain from power generation through distribution to battery monitoring: power distribution units with 900 W and 1,800 W, generator control units, battery management systems and engine starters, together with further accessories. The systems are designed as modular and redundant fail-safe power management systems for unmanned platforms.

In addition to hardware, visionair offers engineering, training and testing services, including a test cell for propulsion systems with calibration, load and vibration tests. Its customers are mainly system integrators and developers of unmanned systems; drone manufacturers have also had their propulsion packages tested and calibrated by the company.
