WELP Group

WELP Holding GmbH, based in Wilkau-Haßlau in Saxony, heads the WELP Group. The group develops and manufactures plastic and metal components, complete assemblies and vehicles, including armoured and security-rated protected vehicles for authorities, emergency services and other customers with high security requirements.

In May 2026 WELP and H.P. Marketing & Consulting Wüst GmbH presented a counter-UAS platform built on a protected Toyota Land Cruiser 300. Its core is Hensoldt's Elysion C-UAS mission core, which fuses radar, radio-frequency and optical sensor data into a common picture; detection, tracking, classification and neutralisation are controlled from an operator station inside the vehicle, with modular effectors supplied by Wüst. The vehicle is protected to VPAM VR7 (VR9 optional) and STANAG 4569 and is aimed at critical infrastructure, airports, military sites, border security and convoy escort.

WELP also lists a Drone Command Vehicle (DCV) among its protected vehicles.
