About Xynetic
Xynetic GmbH is a young defence technology company based in Herford, North Rhine-Westphalia. Co-founder and CEO is Andreas Stiebner. The company develops and manufactures unmanned aerial vehicles that are designed and tested within the European Union.
Its main product is the XLM 100 Minotaurus, a loitering munition whose electric ducted-fan drive is fully integrated into the rear of the airframe. According to the company, this reduces noise and the Doppler signature of conventional propellers and allows launches from tubes and launcher systems. The modular platform carries payloads of up to five kilograms, enabling interception roles with different sensors as well as classic strike missions. A second system, the XLC Typhon, is listed on the website.
Xynetic presented its systems at the DroneVation & Defence symposium in Vienna, where the impeller-driven loitering drone was demonstrated to the Austrian defence community.
