EDEX 2027 takes place from 6 to 9 December 2027 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC) in New Cairo, Egypt. The fifth edition of Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) is organised by the Egyptian Armament Authority of the Ministry of Defence.
The biennial tri-service exhibition presents technology, equipment and systems for land, sea and air forces. At the 2025 edition, Reuters reported quadcopters and counter-drone systems among the exhibits, including the Sky Dome anti-drone system marketed by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation.
