Eurobotics GmbH: Raffael Klaschka takes the helm as CEO
Christoph Otten is handing over the CEO role at Eurobotics to Raffael Klaschka and will concentrate more on Aegiron. Together with COO Lars Zander, the former fighter pilot now leads the Gilching-based company.

Since 1 June, Raffael Klaschka has headed Eurobotics GmbH as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The company, based in Gilching near Munich, develops, integrates and operates unmanned systems – for missions in the air, on land, at sea and under water.
At 47, Klaschka succeeds Christoph Otten as CEO, who had led the company as founding managing director since March 2026. Otten is pleased with the appointment:
“Raffael Klaschka brings the perfect combination of passion, enthusiasm for innovation, know-how and network to lead Eurobotics along its growth path and develop it further in the coming years”— Christoph Otten
“With him at the helm, Eurobotics will become a strong, internationally positioned player in the drone and robotics industry”— Christoph Otten
Otten shifts his focus to Aegiron
With Klaschka now CEO, Otten is focusing more strongly on his role as CEO of Aegiron GmbH. He says:
“Expanding and developing Aegiron as the defence division of Armira Beteiligungen GmbH & Co. KG through cooperation and acquisitions is a great challenge and offers enormous opportunities”— Christoph Otten
In addition, Otten will continue to serve as managing director of INTEC Holding GmbH and INTEC Industrie-Technik GmbH; the role at the head of Aegiron comes on top of this.
“Eurobotics is one of the most exciting companies in an industry that could hardly be surpassed in dynamism and opportunity. I look forward to working with a highly motivated and innovative team to create and further develop technologies that make an immense contribution to our security, defence capability and resilience.”— Raffael Klaschka
Eurobotics CEO with a career in the air force and industry
Klaschka has worked in the security and defence industry for many years. He began his career as a fighter pilot and officer in the German Air Force. After his active military career ended, he took on leadership roles, including at Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH and ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH. His most recent position was at MSG Systems AG, where he worked as Vice President Defense & Aerospace.
For the company, the appointment is a further significant step towards becoming a leading, internationally oriented technology company in the security and defence industry. Klaschka now shares the leadership with Lars Zander, who took up the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the beginning of May.
