Saab names Johan Andersson as new Head of Investor Relations
People and appointments: Johan Andersson moves from Husqvarna Group to the Swedish defence group Saab, where he takes over investor relations from 15 September. His predecessor Merton Kaplan moves to the M&A team.

On 15 September, Johan Andersson takes up his new role at the Swedish defence group Saab: the company has appointed him to head its investor relations.
Andersson has worked in investor relations (IR) for more than 15 years. Most recently he was responsible for IR at Husqvarna Group; before that he held leadership positions at companies including Elekta, SCA and Securitas Systems.
Andersson himself said: “I am pleased and proud to join Saab in the midst of the company's strong growth phase. I look forward to contributing to an open and constructive dialogue with our investors and to highlighting the company's long-term value creation at a time when security and innovation are more important than ever.”
Saab headquarters in Stockholm as place of work
Andersson will lead his team from Stockholm, where Saab has its headquarters. Merton Kaplan, who currently heads investor relations, is moving to a position in the group's own M&A team.
