HIGHCAT

HIGHCAT GmbH, based in Konstanz, is a German manufacturer of modular unmanned systems that specialises in sovereign drone solutions. The company covers the complete system lifecycle in-house, from platform design and mechanical development to electronics, flight control, payload integration, communication systems, software, testing and manufacturing.

Its modular approach allows platforms, payloads and ground control components to be adapted to a wide range of operational requirements, with all critical subsystems developed under one roof. HIGHCAT manufactures in Germany, deliberately avoids Chinese components and ITAR-restricted parts, describes its ecosystem as NDAA-compliant and works with a German Tier 1 automotive supplier to scale up production.

According to the company, its multicopters are among the platforms most frequently donated from Germany to Ukraine, and HIGHCAT is a contracted supplier to public-sector institutions. Together with odm GmbH it developed the HC-1 reconnaissance drone.
