About TAF Industries
TAF Industries is a Ukrainian defence technology company founded by Odesa entrepreneur Oleksandr Yakovenko. It operated as TAF Drones until August 2025, when it adopted its current name. The company reports more than 30 products, including strike drones, reconnaissance systems, relay carriers, electronic warfare systems, remote control systems and AI-based solutions, and says its products are approved for use and codified by Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
Its drones are marketed under the Kolibri name. In August 2026 Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence codified the Kolibri-i10 interceptor, which the manufacturer specifies with a speed of more than 200 km/h and a range of up to 25 km for use against Russian reconnaissance and attack drones. TAF Industries states a production capacity of more than 80,000 FPV drones per month across more than 20 sites.
Under the Build with Ukraine initiative, the company has signed a letter of intent with Poland’s PGZ on localising drone and counter-drone production in Poland, a memorandum with Finland’s Summa Defence and a memorandum with Denmark’s Upteko on a joint venture for FPV drone production.
