About Valhalla Turrets
Valhalla Turrets d.o.o. is a Slovenian defence company based in Komenda that develops and manufactures remote-controlled weapon stations and turret systems in-house. Its product families are Loki, Midgard, Asgard, Mangart 25, Mangart 30 and Skythunder, with an emphasis on mobile counter-UAS defence. The company holds ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 certification.
In March 2025 the Slovenian Ministry of Defence awarded a framework agreement for 12 Mangart 25 air defence stations to a consortium led by Valhalla Turrets. The station combines a Rheinmetall 25 × 137 mm KBA cannon, Safran optics, Hensoldt radars and launchers for MBDA counter-drone missiles, and is being integrated on the Patria Svarun 8x8 and the Oshkosh JLTV.
The Skythunder 300, shown with Daimler Truck at Eurosatory 2026, builds on the Mangart 30 and pairs a Northrop Grumman MK44S Bushmaster 30 mm cannon with a Dillon Aero M134D Gatling gun and Arnold Defense laser-guided 70 mm rockets. A Skythunder version presented in October 2026 combines an M197 20 mm Gatling cannon with laser-guided missiles. The Midgard 134 station, armed with the M134D, entered delivery in 2026.
