Counter-UAS on mobile platforms: Droneshield and Defenture agree strategic partnership
At Eurosatory 2026, Droneshield and Defenture presented a memorandum of understanding. It is to lead to a joint roadmap that brings counter-UAS technology onto vehicle platforms such as Mammoth and GRF.

Through a strategic partnership, Droneshield and Defenture intend to jointly pursue business opportunities in mobile counter-UAS – more precisely, in capabilities against unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The two companies announced this step at Eurosatory 2026. Droneshield provides counter-drone solutions, while Defenture specialises in tactical mobility.
The memorandum of understanding brings together two fields of expertise: on one side Droneshield’s hardware and software for UAS defence, command and control systems and operational support capabilities, on the other the know-how Defenture contributes in mobile vehicle platforms. The aim is a coordinated roadmap through which a command and control solution for air defence and counter-UAS is to be brought to market – designed for modern operational environments.

“By combining Defenture’s mobile platform capabilities with Droneshield’s proven counter-UAS technologies, we are better positioned to support customers seeking agile, layered protection against evolving drone threats. The evolution of modern drone warfare has made it clear that traditional platforms now require UAS protection, and the partnership with Droneshield enables us to bring this capability to market in a way that is practical, mobile and operationally relevant”— Roderick Toutenhoofd, board member at Defenture
Counter-UAS for Mammoth and GRF
Under the memorandum of understanding, the parties intend to coordinate go-to-market initiatives, approach customers jointly, conduct trials, achieve interoperability milestones and pursue selected business opportunities. Specifically, the aim is to offer Droneshield’s current and next-generation counter-UAS systems on Defenture platforms such as Mammoth and GRF. With a view to future customer relationships, layered UAS defence concepts for mobile operations are also to be developed.
“The collaboration reflects the growing demand for highly mobile, deployable anti-drone systems that can support military and security forces in increasingly complex threat environments”— Droneshield and Defenture in a joint press release
“Many military customers are looking for scalable and mobile UAS defence solutions that can be deployed quickly and operate effectively in dynamic environments. Droneshield’s new partnership with Defenture combines complementary strengths to meet this need and pave the way for joint business opportunities in key markets.”— Louis Gamarra, CCO of Droneshield
