Drone industry: Quantum Systems announces further joint ventures with Ukrainian manufacturers
A high-level political meeting in Berlin is to set the stage for new joint ventures under "Build with Ukraine". According to Quantum Systems, two of them are about to be announced – the drone industries of both countries are moving closer together.

Quantum Systems is further expanding its industrial cooperation with Ukraine – another step for the drone industry of both countries. At a high-level political meeting taking place in Berlin this week, the company says it intends to announce new joint ventures with Ukrainian manufacturers under the "Build with Ukraine" initiative.
Drone industry: what QFI is already delivering
Quantum Systems already operates the first German-Ukrainian joint venture under "Build with Ukraine": Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI). In joint production with Frontline Robotics, production of 10,000 multi-role quadcopter drones in Germany is currently being ramped up, intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A first batch went to the customer as scheduled at the end of March 2026.
The announcement of two further joint ventures is imminent; the company says more details will follow shortly.
Quantum Systems is and remains a leading player in German-Ukrainian industrial cooperation. Our joint venture QFI shows that production capacity can be built up in Germany within a few weeks and operational systems can be reliably delivered to Ukraine. We are convinced that this form of cooperation forms a key foundation for Europe's future defence capabilities— Matthias Lehna, Managing Director of Quantum Frontline Industries
