About Quantum Systems
Quantum Systems GmbH was founded in 2015 in Gilching near Munich by former Bundeswehr officer Florian Seibel. The company develops electric unmanned aircraft that take off and land vertically and then transition to efficient fixed-wing flight (eVTOL).
Its product family covers the Trinity mapping and surveying drone for civil users, the Vector reconnaissance system for military and security forces, and the smaller Twister for short-range, high-mobility missions. The aircraft share a common ground control and AI-assisted sensor software.
Quantum Systems has grown into one of Europe's largest defence-technology start-ups, with large volumes of Vector systems delivered to Ukraine and production sites in Germany and abroad. In 2026 it closed a Series D financing round of about 1.2 billion US dollars.
