Quantum Systems' 1.05 billion euro Series D lifts valuation to around 7 billion
Unmanned systems startups in focus: Advent, Airbus, Blackstone and Noteus are leading the new round. Quantum Systems plans to use the fresh capital to expand production, supply chains and AI development – and to deepen its cooperation with Airbus Defence and Space.

In one of the largest rounds among unmanned systems startups, Quantum Systems has announced the signing of a Series D financing round totalling 1.05 billion euros. After the round (post money), the company is now valued at around 7 billion euros.
The round was jointly led by Advent, Airbus, Blackstone and Noteus. It was supported by crossover investors and long-term institutional investors forming a high-calibre consortium – including A.P. Moller Holding, Bond, Elephant Lake Ventures, Wellington Management and Fidelity Management & Research Company. Existing investors Balderton and HV Capital are also participating. With the financing, the valuation has more than doubled.
In parallel with the Series D, Quantum Systems and Airbus Defence and Space are deepening their strategic cooperation. By pooling their strengths, the two aim to accelerate the development of defence technologies that make Europe sovereign.
“The Future is Unmanned. Defence will in future be shaped by autonomous systems that work together in real time across different domains. With Quantum Systems, we are building a next-generation neo-prime that has the potential to fundamentally change defence as we know it today. We are profitable, deployed worldwide and, with the latest financing round, now have more than 1.05 billion euros in additional firepower to consistently implement our strategy.”— Florian Seibel, Co-CEO and co-founder of Quantum Systems
“In just a few years, Quantum Systems has become a reliable technology partner in defence. This financing enables us to further expand our production, grow internationally and deliver the next generation of AI-enabled autonomous systems in the air, on land, at sea and in adjacent domains.”— Sven Kruck, Co-CEO of Quantum Systems

What Quantum Systems will use the capital for
The money is to go into more production capacity and secure supply chains, into a delivery infrastructure that will be scaled across allied markets, and into the further development of software and AI.
The company's CFO, Jonas Jarosch, points to the financial figures:
“Quantum Systems has built a financial profile that sets new standards in defence: triple-digit growth, double-digit profitability and disciplined execution in scaling”— Jonas Jarosch, CFO of Quantum Systems
“With these financing proceeds, we will accelerate our next phase of growth. To this end, we are industrialising our multi-domain platform, expanding production capacity in allied markets and continuing to invest in technological infrastructure to strengthen our long-term competitive position.”— Jonas Jarosch, CFO of Quantum Systems
